Academics, WHHEEEE!

Well, I've finished my first module of my Medical Insurance Coding program. I came out with a 99.0 average which put me on the President's List for that module. I understand that if you do that enough modules in a row, you get onto the Director's List. That's what I'm shooting for. I'm doing well so far in the current module with an average around 93. I'm hoping to boost that closer to my previous average by keeping my grades up and getting as much extra credit as I can get out of my instructor.

The Search For Prints

I'm trying to get some test prints made locally to send to the one who will be doing my printing so she can see what they are supposed to look like. If you are someone in Houston (or know someone in Houston) who can either do some color tests for me or can actually do 8x10 archival prints for $4 or less per print please contact me!! I'm also looking for someone willing to cut mats for me or teach me how to use their mat cutter and let me use it.

Draconis Quatl Froudia

As you can see by the picture there at the left, I've got another dragon piece in the works. This one is called Draconis Quatl Froudia because my fiance says it looks like Brian Froud does Quetzequatl.  So I thought that would be appropriate. The piece is colored pencil and I will have to mutilate my sketch book to get it out as it was started as an act of boredom while I was in the emergency room recently. (No worries! I'm fine.
